The 2016 Fulton Gran Fondo is under four weeks away! We know most of you have been diligently training for months now, but given that the weather is warming up this week, we thought a little reminder to get out and ride wouldn't hurt.
Not feeling the 100 mile vibe? Do the Medio route instead! At just 40 miles, it's a perfect introduction to distance cycling in a low-key, friendly event.
Ride registration for both the Gran and Medio route is just $45 from now until the end of the April. In addition to the ride, your registration gets you a free beer at the block party, a handy Jersey Bin, and some commemorative goodies to boot.
Whether or not you feel like biking 100 (or 40) miles on May 7th, the block party portion of this year's Fulton Gran Fondo has a can't-miss band lineup. Check out our Waynes World 2 spoof video for the announcement. Special thanks to our friends at The Current for their help in producing the video.
This year's block party runs from 2-9 pm. As always, there's no cover charge and beers are just $5. Bike and bag valet are available, a host of food trucks will be there to serve you, and it's a family-friendly vibe.
Last but certainly not least, the party is the first time all year you can get The Randonneur, our summer session saison.
Summer starts on May 7th -- don't miss it.
