Minneapolis’ Fulton Beer has struck a deal with Artisanal Imports that will enable the company to broaden its distribution footprint throughout the Midwest and along the East Coast.

Brian Wahlstrom, manager for Hy-Vee Wine and Spirts, suggests Fulton Beer’s Lonely Blonde, a blonde ale out of Minneapolis, Minnesota. “It would be a good contrast to the spice,” he said. “It’s just a super good beer.” Wahlstrom describes Lonely Blonde as being nice and soft that isn’t as hoppy as some beers and won’t overpower the flavors in the chili.

Har Mar, along with rapper and punk vocalist/guitarist P.O.S. (founding member of the Doomtree hip-hop collective), and Nato Coles and the Blue Diamond Band, are laying down a rare, ticketed show on Kathy’s Pub’s second floor this Saturday.

Christian Clements, 38-year-old owner of Positive Tuesday, a newly-launched promotion company, instigated the show with help from Fulton Beer. Clements recently relocated to Rochester from Minneapolis.
