Fulton Brewing’s Minneapolis taproom is the official and only home of RUSH Beer on draft in the United States. Initially released as RUSH Canadian Golden Ale and available exclusively north of the border, Fulton is proud to collaborate with the band as their exclusive US brewing partner and will offer the beer on draft and in crowlers beginning Saturday, June 24. Limited distribution in 12oz bottles and 16oz cans will also be available in the US at halftime.com.
Beer has always been a part of the after-show touring experience for RUSH, as singer/bassist Geddy Lee tells the tale of loving a fresh, ice-cold beer immediately coming off stage after a long show. Geddy Lee and guitarist Alex Lifeson made the dream of creating their own RUSH beer come to fruition in 2021 through a partnership with Toronto craft brewery Henderson. RUSH American Golden Ale is brewed with the same recipe as its Canadian counterpart. It presents with a rich golden appearance and dense, ivory head. An earthy aroma with hints of orange peel, caramel, and black tea finishes with a piney and citric hop character. At 5.5%, ABV this sessionable ale finishes dry and pairs well with your favorite RUSH album.
The US launch party will take place on June 24 at Fulton’s Taproom where RUSH fans can get their first sips of the draft beginning at Noon. Come for the beer, stay for the full day of RUSH tunes, trivia, prizes, pinball, food and drink specials and merchandise giveaways.
