POSITION SUMMARY:

The Fulton Digital Community Manager is a key position within the company and is a cornerstone of Fulton’s digital and social outreach & management. This person will sit at the intersection of multiple points of end-consumer interaction, a position of growing importance in this digital age. Fulton’s Digital Community Manager will report directly to the Fulton Marketing Director and will reside within the Marketing Department. Working closely with the Marketing and Sales teams this person will be a strong brand advocate and our lead person in outward communications from both a brand and customer service standpoints. Understanding that the Fulton brand is an ever-expanding entity, entering new categories of industry and new parts of the country all under one umbrella. Being flexible and adaptable will best suit this candidate for future growth and success.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

The workload of this position on any given day will be a careful and calculated balance of “top of feed” tasks & deployments, and back-end management, analytics and planning.

● Keeps Fulton poised for success regarding the implementation of new technologies and digital trends.

● Works closely with Director of Marketing and Fulton’s Leadership Team to define Fulton’s long term digital content strategy.

● Critical and cautious thinking that considers “the bigger picture” daily and understands the value in every post, reply and review.

Social Media

● Passive Social: Intercepts all end-consumer and brand ally comments, questions, updates and reviews on social within 12 hours.

● Active Social: Publishes, connects, and comments, when appropriate, on Fulton social to continue the organic growth on each channel.

● Updates social media content on regular basis in areas/channels of passive engagement such as but not exclusive to Untappd menus, Facebook hours, Google Business Pages, Trip Advisor, Growler Events Calendar, Yelp, etc.

● Creates, maintains and reports on cross-platform metrics that help Fulton build a better social strategy including the creation of metrics-driven goals for each platform.

● Continues the evolution of the digital Fulton Marketing Path and drives people to it through the cycle of Visibility / Presence / Awareness / Affinity / Follower/ Purchase/ Advocacy.

● Build user base across Fulton’s social media platforms.

Website Management

● Update and maintain Fulton originated websites, including but not limited to Fultonbeer.com, Fultongranfondo.com, Standardlager.com.

● Build Fulton websites’ organic ranking in SEO.

● Intercepts, responds and re-directs Fultonbeer.com inquiries to appropriate people and/or department

Public Relations

● Develope PR outreach plan.

● Maintain Fulton’s E-mail newsletter and grow its subscriber list, through engaging content and meaningful interaction.

IMPORTANT SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

Fulton’s Digital Community Manager must be proficient in industry leading software, platforms and technologies as it pertains to the social media and digital realm. This person is able to switch between many points of incoming media, inquiry and critique while maintaining a “big picture” view of our digital presence. They are a champion of digital communication and a bonafide “people person”, but also understand how to edit out the noise inherent in this space. The ideal candidate will take a balanced approach to qualitative and quantitative analytics and will merge such with a natural ability to identify patterns and distill them into valuable insights. This person must have an innate ability to understand how people perceive and utilize social media as an extension and tool of their projected personal value systems. Strong copywriting skills are a requirement.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Fulton Graphic Designer is a key position within the company and is a cornerstone of Fulton’s creative communication output. In an increasingly crowded market with limited shelf space and consumer’s attention span waning, being an effective communicator is paramount to our success. It is our job to cut through the noise and rise to the top. A successful graphic designer will rely not only on their individual ability to accomplish set goals and accountabilities; but in their ability to work together and communicate with the rest of the marketing team.

QUALIFICATIONS

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES 
The workload of this position on any given day will need the careful management and balance in priority of immediate and long-term projects including but not limited to:
● Creation of graphics and images for fultonbeer.com, standardlager.com and social media platforms for each
○ Packaging design
○ In-house product photography and image editing
○ Advertising layouts
○ Fulton & Standard branded merchandise (non-beer), including clothing, glassware, and accessories.
● Signage, Menus and Taproom visuals
● Sales Support Materials (including but not limited to): posters, table cards, menus and off-sale retail support items.
● Creation and Management of Distributor assets on Fultonbeer.com
○ The Fultonbeer.com distributor portal is an online tool belt built with a multitude of
different assets needed for our distributor partners to represent and sell our
product in the market. This is an ever-expanding and changing collection of items.
○ Continued stewardship of Fulton’s design elements and assets
Design Thinking Candidate considers the organization of information and consumer perception of brand in clear and hierarchical ways that lead to brand endearment and sales conversions. Working with goals
in mind, this person should use divergent thinking to begin the design process as needed to give Fulton a competitive edge.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Fulton’s Packaging Line Operator is a critical member of Fulton’s brewing operations.  The successful packing line operator will follow the detailed job description below and work well with their fellow packing line operators.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Be a contributing member to Fulton Brewing Company’s Packaging Team.

Packaging Operations

Ensure all packaging equipment is set up, maintained, and operational to allow for efficient and safe packaging of quality product.

Operate bottling and kegging line, and perform changeovers on equipment.

Run CIPs to start up and shut down the lines.

Complete production and batch reporting as required.

Learn and perform QC procedures throughout a packaging run

Perform basic cellar operations, e.g. carbonating beer.

Comply with all Fulton Brewing Company policies.

Aid in training as necessary.

Communicate effectively and work well with other departments.

Work towards achieving departmental goals around efficiencies and yields.

Attending Fulton Brewing Company events, e.g. tastings, releases, and beer festivals.

Maintain a clean and orderly work area, returning tools, equipment, and supplies to the appropriate storage areas after each assignment.

 

Packaging or manufacturing experience; formal packaging education, training, certifications, or accreditation are a plus.

Must have the ability and aptitude to learn and perform basic electrical, mechanical, and programming troubleshooting. A working knowledge of brewing and process equipment including HMI’s and PLC equipment is a plus.

Must have the ability and aptitude to learn and perform skills applicable to general maintenance functions, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatics, boiler maintenance.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Skills applicable to general maintenance functions, including: mechanical, electrical, pneumatics, boiler maintenance are a plus.

  • The ability to read and interpret manuals, schematics, and blue prints.

Primary Responsibilities

Brewing

  • Work with other Fulton brewers as a team to produce beer and other product lines at Fulton’s Minneapolis breweries
  • Execution of all brewing-related tasks, including: operation of a 20 barrel manual brewhouse and 80 barrel semi-automated brewhouse
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for production processes

Cellaring & Filtration

  • Develop, maintain and follow cellaring process and procedures to ensure the quality of Fulton’s products. 
  • Learn filtration processes and become proficient with both centrifuge and DE filtration methods.

 

Recipe Development

  • Work with brewer team on recipe development, alternative cellaring techniques and enhancements to production and efficiency.
  • Recipe development opportunities may come both at Fulton’s NE brewing facility and its downtown brewery and taproom. 

Other

  • Record production and batch/lot data using log sheet and Orchestrated Beer
  • Assist Plant Manager with troubleshooting and occasional maintenance tasks
  • Identify opportunities for operational improvement

Brewery Working Environment

The demands of the Shift Brewer position are very physical in nature.  The demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.  While performing the duties of this job you will be working over, under, and around machinery in tight and cramped spaces.  You will need to be able to work in awkward positions for extended periods of time and/or standing, kneeling, and crouching for long periods of time.  You must be comfortable working at heights while standing on a ladder or in a basket.  This work environment involves indoor and outdoor activities in various temperatures and weather conditions.  The ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Employees are exposed to high levels of noise and other hazards requiring the use of personal protective equipment.
