Minnesota’s Fulton Beer is bringing back their popular, limited release, New England-style IPA, Specter, on November 1st. Available in kegs, 4-pack cans, and draught.
This is the first time Specter will be available to wholesalers, retailers, and consumers in all regions of the United States by markets that sell and service by Artisanal Imports.
The Spector is a smooth, creamy mouthfeel and hazy appearance, with nearly 20% oats in the mash, a chloride-heavy water chemistry and low flocculating yeast. At 35 IBU’s, it was aggressively hopped
An OG among the garage taproom lot, Fulton might be one of Minnesota’s best-kept secrets. Its Sweet Child of Vine is a hoppy-sweet staple, and the Lonely Blonde is a reliable lunch-pail kind of brew. Doing simple things exceptionally well has been Fulton's calling card, but there’s plenty of creativity to be found as well. Its taproom, which just launched a permanent Airstream-housed kitchen from chef Scott Pampuch, is full of playful beers that are sometimes so good they have to become a permanent fixture like the Mosaic-hopped 300. It’s also ideally situated for grabbing catching a Twins or Timberwolves game.
Fall Seasonal to Try: Whiskey, War & Peace (11% ABV)
Fulton collaborated with Jameson to barrel-age its popular War & Peace imperial coffee stout. It’s intense and delicious, and it’s only available in the taproom for a limited time.
The Minneapolis brewery will be bringing Whiskey, War, & Peace, an imperial coffee stout aged in Jameson barrels, to GABF. The beer is rich and vibrant, showcasing Guatemalan coffee and velvety whiskey. Find the Fulton team hanging out at the Jameson Caskmates Barrel-Aged Beer Garden and seek them out on your next trip to the Twin Cities.
For the fourth consecutive year, ARTCRANK is teaming up with Fulton Brewing to provide adult refreshments and benefit a local nonprofit organization. A portion of proceeds from beer sales will benefit the Minnesota Cycling Federation and its programs that introduce kids to the sport of cycling, let them try out racing for the first time, and learn how to ride like pros.
ARTCRANK is also partnering with IDS Center — which is donating the space for the event — and the mpls downtown council to create a showcase of all the ways that cycling is transforming the downtown neighborhood, from commuting to shopping to sightseeing. Show attendees will be encouraged to take advantage of the revamped, Nicollet to arrive by bike, with free valet bike parking near IDS Center’s Nicollet entrance provided by the Cultural Wellness Center’s My Bike Project, another longtime ARTCRANK partner.
...For dinner, we sat in the open-air mess hall, enjoying a family-style rice and beans platter, gazpacho, and roasted goat from the grass-fed Shepherd Song Farm in Wisconsin. Each course came with a drink pairing provided by Bittercubeand Fulton Beer. After dinner, we enjoyed end-of-day activities, such as illuminated canoeing and a campfire social, complete with a canoe full of beer on ice...
This was one of our favorites — light, crisp and plenty of hoppy flavor without being overly bitter. We decided we could drink this one all day long, even those of us who aren’t usually fond of hoppy beers.

...“We are especially excited about Specter as it will be our first beer to be released across the entire Artisanal network, which means it will hit stores and pints across the country ‒ not just our current footprint,” said Corey Shovein, Fulton’s National Sales Director. “This is a delicious beer that resonates with consumers not just because it is a hoppy, juicy, hazy NE-style IPA with packaging that stands out on a crowded cooler shelf. It’s also because Specter tells a deeply personal story for Fulton that many people can relate to. We want everyone to enjoy this beer, read the story and take action if they are able.”...
