
Part-Time Packaging Line Operator
Fulton’s Part Time Packaging Line Operator is a member of Fulton’s packaging team and reports directly to Fulton’s Packaging Supervisor. The Part Time Packaging Line Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operations of Fulton’s packaging equipment. The Part-Time Packaging Operator will develop skills in a variety of filling and packaging operations, warehouse and logistics roles, and inventory management. Cleanliness, safety, the ability to clearly communicate, and the ability to follow directions are critical to the success of the Part-Time Packaging Operator.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Packaging Equipment Operations
- Operate Fulton’s packaging equipment, including a variety of roles on the canning and keg line, following established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Procedures (GMPs), Fulton’s policies, and checklists.
- Prepare the packaging lines and surrounding area at the start and end of packaging operations, including cleaning, general maintenance, and staging of packaging materials.
- Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of the environment and equipment per defined SOPs and GMPs.
- Adhere to all safety protocols in all operations and participate in improvements to safety standards where appropriate.
- Ensure all finished goods are clearly and properly labeled and stored in their assigned place.
- Assist in completing daily packaging line logs and checklists.
- Clearly communicate with the packaging team.

Materials/Machines/Equipment Used
- Pallet Jacks
- Fulton’s packaging equipment: canning and kegging lines and associated controls
- Forklift trucks
- Cleaning agents and other hazardous chemicals.
- PLCs, VFDs, and HMIs on Fulton’s packaging equipment.
Important Skills and Abilities:
- Must be 18 years of age or older at the time of application.
- Able to pass a post-offer, pre-employment background check.
- Obtain and maintain a forklift driver certificate.

- Able to maneuver packages of any weight above 180 pounds with appropriate equipment and/or assistance.
- Able to move palletized goods exceeding 500-pounds, using appropriate techniques and tools.
- Able to work in a factory/production environment that may be humid, cold, or hot.
- Able to work in indoor and outdoor environments with moderate noise and occasionally slippery floors.
- Able to comply with and enforce all health, safety, and personal hygiene policies and standards.
