Lab Partners: Fulton x SMM

Fulton Brewing and Science Museum of Minnesota Launch “Lab Partners” Collaboration

MINNEAPOLIS, MN and SAINT PAUL, MN — Fulton Brewing and the Science Museum of Minnesota are launching Lab Partners, a multi-year collaboration bringing science programming and craft beer together across both venues.

The partnership kicks off this June with two events:

  • June 11 at 6 p.m. — A cryogenics-themed pop-up at Fulton's North Loop taproom, featuring live demonstrations and programming from the Science Museum.
  • June 13 — Fulton joins the Science Museum's Club Science: Pride celebration, where guests can sample local craft beer while exploring exhibits and museum programming.

Running through 2027, the collaboration will bring educational pop-ups, themed events, and joint programming to Fulton's taproom and the Science Museum in St. Paul. The connection between the two organizations is a practical one: brewing draws on chemistry, agriculture, engineering, and sensory science, while the Science Museum has long been focused on hands-on, experiential learning for adults and kids alike.

"We loved the nostalgia behind the idea of being 'Lab Partners' with our friends at the Science Museum," said Jill Drum, Fulton Director of Hospitality. "Less memorizing the periodic table, more exploding volcanoes kind of science."

"The Science Museum knows learning should be interactive, accessible, and inspiring at every age," said Alison Brown, President and CEO of the Science Museum of Minnesota. "This collaboration invites adults to reconnect with the excitement of asking questions, trying new experiences, and figuring things out together."

Additional events and activations are planned throughout 2026 and 2027.
