Rush Hour Returns

RUSH Golden Ale returns for the Band’s 50th Anniversary Tour

Some beers are made for patios. Some are made for game days. This one was made for drum solos that last longer than most songs.

We're bringing back RUSH Golden Ale, the official RUSH beer in the United States, to celebrate the band’s upcoming RUSH 50 Something World Tour. Originally released in 2023 through Fulton’s partnership with the legendary Canadian rock trio, the beer returns in 2026 with refreshed artwork, the same fan-favorite recipe, and a new reason to turn the volume all the way up.

Beginning Thursday, May 21, RUSH Golden Ale will once again be available exclusively at Fulton’s Minneapolis taproom on draft and in crowlers to-go. Limited 16oz cans will also be available at select venues throughout the North American leg of the upcoming tour.

Originally created alongside Toronto brewery Henderson Brewing, RUSH Golden Ale was inspired by the band’s longtime post-show ritual: an ice-cold beer after stepping off stage. As bassist and vocalist Geddy Lee previously shared, beer was always part of the touring experience, eventually leading the band to create a beer worthy of the soundtrack.

Brewed with the same recipe as the original release, RUSH Golden Ale pours a rich gold with notes of orange peel, caramel, black tea, and a piney citrus hop finish. At 5.5% ABV, it’s crisp, balanced, and built for extended listening sessions. Or arguing about which RUSH era was best.

To celebrate the return, Fulton is launching a new recurring taproom series called Rush Hours, taking place on the 21st and 12th of every month from 5-6pm. During Rush Hours, the taproom soundtrack shifts entirely to RUSH albums while fans can enjoy:

* $4 pints of RUSH Golden Ale
* $9 crowlers
* Full album playthroughs from across the band’s catalog
* General appreciation for extremely complicated time signatures

The first Rush Hours event kicks off at the taproom on Thursday, May 21
