Two Ways to Prost: Fulton’s Oktoberfest Returns + New N*RCtoberfest

Oktoberfest Like No Other
Friday-Saturday, Sept. 19-20, 26-27 | Fridays - 4 - 10 p.m., Saturdays - Noon - 10 p.m.
If the beer matters to you, Fulton Oktoberfest is the one not to miss. With the largest curated lineup in the Twin Cities of imported Oktoberfest Märzen, Hefe-Weizens, and Munich darks from Paulaner and Hacker-Pschorr, alongside Fulton’s own Festbier and many other seasonal favorites, this celebration delivers authenticity — one liter at a time.
At Fulton’s Northeast Minneapolis brewery (2540 NE 2nd St., Minneapolis) guests can enjoy traditional Bavarian fare, polka and dance performances, and family-friendly activities. Whether you're sipping local from a stein (BYOS encouraged!) or sampling new 5 liter-party kegs from Paulaner, beer service will be provided by and supports the Dolina Polish Folk Dancers, keeping the good times rolling for a good cause. The beer tent operates on a token system, and steins are required for draught beer — available for purchase or bring your own.

Food That Sings “Sprechen Sie Sausage?”
Crafted by Fulton’s new in-house kitchen and partners at Lowry Hill Provisions, Oktoberfest menus range from currywurst with house-made ketchup to a three-foot Meterwurst dubbed “3 Feet of Meat.” Brat and schnitzel plates, pretzels with Chill City Beer Cheese, and cheese curds with Cry Baby Craig’s Hot Honey round out the malty, mouth-watering fare.

Polka, Choirs & Kinder Fun
Entertainment includes live music from Polish-inspired bands, performances by the award-winning SG Edelweiss Bavarian dancers, and stein-holding and brat-toss contests.
Families will find a dedicated Kinderfest tent with shade, crafts, and kid-friendly eats like the “Kinder Dog.” There’s even a bounce “haus” to keep little ones entertained.

Run, Ride, Then Raise a Stein
Two special events elevate the final weekend:
- Brewery Running Series Oktoberfest 5K (Sept. 20)
- Fulton Gran Fondo by Free Bikes For Kidz bike ride with 25, 50, and 100-mile routes ending at the fest (Sept. 27).
Both events require separate registration.
Fulton Festbier Returns
Starting the week of August 18, Fulton Festbier will be available on tap and in 12-packs of 12 oz. cans across Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin. It’s the best of both worlds — bridging the malt-forward Märzen tradition with the crisp, quaffable qualities of modern festbiers.

Introducing N*RCtoberfest: A New Buzz on an Old Tradition
Saturday, October 11 | Noon–10 p.m.
Hosted by Fulton at its North Loop taproom (414 N 6th Ave., Minneapolis) and inspired by its N*RC line of THC beverages, N*RCtoberfest offers a reimagined Oktoberfest experience – bringing together the warmth of traditional fest culture (think bratwurst, polka, and community tables) with a low-key environment designed for open, stigma-free sampling and conversations about hemp-derived THC and the future of cannabis in Minnesota.
Far from a panel or lecture, an opening “happy hour” (12-1 pm) invites guests to engage with experienced members of the THC community with no pressure, no jargon, just approachable guidance in a relaxed and celebratory setting. With DJ sets, a Bratwurst & Burlesque drag show, and a “Gemütlichkeit Chill-Out Lounge,” the day mixes quirky fun with genuine THC enlightenment. Guests can enjoy 5mg and 10mg N*RC beverages, exclusive color-changing steins, and gummies and macaron pairings to take the vibe home.
Crafts, snack necklaces, munchy bites, and even a non-herbaceous plant raffle round out this playful, inclusive gathering. It’s Oktoberfest, evolved: full of flavor, rooted in tradition, and gently elevated.
